The Birth of MonstHER: This Tr*nny is Going to Destroy the World : Eva Wolfson, Meaghan Robichaud
Brick Aux
Friday June 20th 2025
What better way to brave the summer heat than getting destroyed by a blood-thirsty transgender baddy? Just get murdered and skip the sweating altogether! Written by and starring the wildcard, trans(gressive) bouffon Eva Wolfson in her first self-led oeuvre -- years in the making -- and directed by my favorite clown Masshole freako, Meaghan Robichaud. Come scream, laugh, and probably be force-transitioned with me.
Staffer: Matthew Antoci
This project has everything I love in the world - nasty, silly, sexy, weird entertainment with a big disgusting heart and a mess at the end.
Staffer: Theresa Buchheister
MANIFEST DESTINY : Manuel Ortiz, Rachel Shuey, Francisco Arcila, Nefesh Cordero, Jesse B Koehler, John Evans Reese, Viktorija Mickute, Adriana Lea Plaza, Miguel Valderrama, Hesler Garcia, Attilio Rigotti, Paco May, Deby Kaufman, Antonino Giordano
Teatro LATEA
June 12th-29th 2025
Over at Teatro LATEA, we’ve got a twisted reimagining of Hamlet through the swirl of political violence in Chile, the telenovela, spycraft, and documentary-meets-revenge. What haunts us more than the shadow of imperialism and American “interventionism”? I dunno man, sounds like a grand old time to me!
Staffer: Reuven Glezer
Charlie and Richard: Secret Project : Charlie Bardey, Richard Perez
LifeWorld
Friday June 20th 2025
Is the secret project a baby? An invention? A dance? A manifesto? A confrontation? Who cares. It will be a great comedy show. Period.

Fresh Tracks New Works : Kashia Kancey, ayo ohs, Jade Manns, Maxi Hawkey Canion
NYLA
June 13th-14th 2025
Hear me out: I am in this show, but this isn't just shameless self-promotion. Fresh Tracks has been a staple of my dance-viewing calendar since I moved to NYC. It's among the highest-paying incubators of experimental dance, so you'll see artists throwing up all their biggest ideas. It's a mixed bill, so you'll have lots of conversation fodder for the post-show debrief. And as a bonus this year, you'll see me pretending to be a bug in a pair of Jade Manns' slacks.
Staffer: Noa Rui-Piin Weiss
This Bug Is Gay : Genevieve Simon, Katherine Wilkinson
Ars Nova
Saturday June 14th 2025
As both a performer and writer, Genevieve Simon deftly juggles strangeness, sadness, and silliness. He is sooo brilliant! In this wild adaptation of Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, performed in German, directed by Katherine Wilkinson, Simon clowns, queers and reimagines Kafka’s story of how systems and institutions make us ‘other’ and perhaps how we can claim that nomenclature for ourselves, as power. Come through!
Staffer: Joshua Dumas
Simon Hanes 34th Birthday and Solo Album Release : Simon Hanes
LifeWorld
Sunday June 22nd 2025
Part of me is like … is Simon really 34? I feel like I was seeing Gorilla Toss at Death By Audio a million years ago. Well whatever. Simon is an eternal icon and brilliant musician/artist/human. Do yourself a favor and go to this party/show and buy the album.
