Parabasis Productions embarks on a four-performance guerilla theater tour of Chekhov’s most famous work about, well, everything if you ask me (you should, I am a Chekhov-head to the umpteenth). I think this will be fun, ambitious, and worth the adventure. Away with thee! To the sound of a string snapping! (Heads up, each night is a different venue starting with Stone Circle in Queens. I was updating the Staff Picks website and learned about this show because of Reuven! I am not necessarily in need of seeing The Cherry Orchard again (I have seen it many many times) but I love the mini-tour concept of doing it in 4 unique locations, 4 days in a row. Plus it has some performers I super enjoy. I will be very curious to talk to folx that see it at the church, garden and roof, as I will be seeing it in the studio… delightfully intrigued!
