This was one of my big Exponential Festival misses (sue me) and I really didn't know much of Spector's work until I caught the fabulous, massive DIONYSUS AT THE EQUINOX over at Domino Park this summer and now I REALLY wanna see this show and thankfully it's getting a sweet sweet remount at the Brick. All hail remounts, all hail second lives.

I am only in town for 1 of the show days and I am going. Period. I loooooved what I saw in January and I want to see it again. Or something different? Or longer? Who knows. I became a legit fan of everyone involved when I saw it on a split bill. It was funny. It was sexy. It had aesthetic perspective while being very spare. It felt like it was made for the space. It felt like it was made for me. It felt intentional.

Ok. This is my first Box Machine show, if you can even believe it. And my millionth Object Collection show, which tracks. I adore the humans behind Box Machine, but I have not been living in NY. I have seen more Object Collection shows than anyone who exists on this plane. This combination is everything.
