JACK
October 23rd - November 1st, 2026
You may have seen Yehuda do his thing on downtown stages with their magnificent presence and, well, mystical feet. This time, their new work comes to JACK, directed by Eno River Players’ Leo Egger. Nijinsky! Memory! Dance!
Staffer: Reuven Glezer
Yehuda is one of the most mesmerizing and charming performers I have seen onstage, so I share Reuven’s enthusiasm for them working with this crack team of artistes! I have been saying it for a while and will keep saying it - More dance theater! More dance theater!
Staffer: Theresa Buchheister
Doll Day Afternoon : Dmitri Barcomi, Daphne Kinard, Karen Boyer, WhimZee Hanna, Mengyi Liu, Liam Bellman-Sharpe, Luca Evans, Vice Squad Artist Collective, Rula A. Muñoz, Red Light Theatrical
La MaMa
October 15th-25th, 2026
Dmitri Barcomi is constantly plunging into worlds, shining light on them and sharing them with others. It is often exciting AND educational. It is often sexy AND weird. It is always worth checking out. Read this wonderful conversation between Dmitri and (brilliant artist with a show in January) Tamás Marquardt that CultureBot published this week to learn more!

User Agreement : Ben Holbrook, Dante Green, Yua Watanabe, Dante Gonzalez, Hayley Garcia Parnell, Eamon Goodman
The Maker’s Space
October 22nd-November 8th, 2026
From the mind of Ben Holbrook (writer of many magnificent things, my first encounter of that being THE DASTARDLY THORNES… at the Brick years ago), a work that asks the most intimate of questions: can we really connect in a world where connection is so atomized by the omnipresent “web.” Helmed by Brick co-AD Dante Green at their own sick indie venue, the Maker’s Space!!!

Warm Greetings from one long day in the desert : Kimiko Tanabe, Nora Alami
Triskelion
October 15th-17th, 2026
I was profoundly moved by, I wept at choreographer/performance artist Kimiko Tanabe's "Portrait of Myself as a Yurei" (2023), and I loved her work in Shannon Yu's "Wild Future 野未來" (2024). So I hold deep curiosity and anticipation for Tanabe's new collaboration with experimental dance artist Nora Alami. Tanabe's work is rich with ideas and storytelling and pointed engagement with grief, history, and politic. In "Warm Greetings" Tanabe and Alami use the desert as site to reflect and refract American narratives about Arab and Asian bodies. Come through!
Staffer: Joshua Dumas
Slanted Floors : Billy McEntee, Kyle Beltrand, Adam Chanler-Berat, Ryan Dobrin, Damayanti Wallace, Nick Auer, Clint Ramos, Isabelle Chirls, Dan Kuan Peeples, Samantha Shoffner, Sam Lombardo, Adam Zell, Patrick Catullo, No Guarantees Productions, Baseline Theatrical, Regular People, Shira Friedman, Sandro Lorenzo
Astor Place Theater (G1)
October 20th-November 15th, 2026
I am a lucky ducky who got to see Slanted Floors in Billy’s apartment earlier this year and I was thrilled to hear that more people will get the chance to see it now, in a new location! It is a delightfully intimate and thoughtful show, with room for laughter and reflection. C’mon! Who doesn’t need that?
